Web App Product

Nexa is a web app product based on Nexus Design System that help a wide variety of customers to enhance their services online. On the Design side, Nexa is a set of flow ready-made, based on Templates with three profile targets in mind: Administrators, Tutors and Final Users.

Among the benefits of building a product app, you can find not only consistency to ensures all parts of an application or website look and feel the same, but also efficiency to speed up the design and development process by providing a reusable foundation. Not to mention that others advantages are maintainability that allows global changes to be made by updating the templates, rather than editing each individual screen. Also, the standardization helps to impose a consistent brand identity across different parts of a project.

Target

Profiles

At the beginning of a UX study, it's impossible to have a set of specific users that will interact directly with the product; rather, they could include: responsible (councils, etc.) for end users, technical administrative (pta) who configures the product for end users, people who receive information from the system, people who decide whether to use the product, people who use competitors' products (conversion/loyalty rule). That's why Ux Design suggest macro groups like Consumer and Configurator:

Personas

The User Persona represents a fictional character created based on real information, analyzed and combined to realistically identify a "typical user." Also, the User Persona allows us to determine how to interact with the service based on different scenarios, identifying solutions or potential critical issues. A series of questions were structured to define various aspects related to IT knowledge and the interaction behavior with the app product Nexa

Template

UI templates are important because they significantly speed up the design process, ensure consistency across an application, and improve the user experience by providing a solid foundation. By using templates, Designers can save time and money, create professional-looking and user-friendly interfaces, and build a cohesive brand identity.

With a guidelines in mind, I extracted as many Ui elements as possibile to be used in a documentation. To do so, I created a dedicated area to collect asset by splitting them for each Profile

Publishing

Wiki

Publishing content to a Wiki, like the one offered by DevOps, is important because it centralizes knowledge, allows for version control, and keeps documentation in sync with code. This integration enhances collaboration by making information easily accessible and trackable, enabling teams to manage documentation like code, ensuring consistency, and improving overall project efficiency.

Publishing content about visual Use Interface is crucial because it boosts user engagement, builds brand identity, and improves overall user experience and memorability. Visual content is processed much faster than text, making it effective for capturing attention, conveying complex information quickly, and helping users retain more information. With this in mind, Nexa itself has been used to digest this documentation in order to give user quick suggestions or help about anything related to the User Interface they're interacting with

End-User Documentation is written material designed specifically for the final users of a product or system, using clear, accessible language to help them complete tasks and solve problems. End-User Documentation serves as the primary communication bridge between complex products and the people who use them daily. Unlike technical documentation written for developers or system administrators, end-user documentation prioritizes clarity, accessibility, and practical task completion over comprehensive technical detail.
