I see people so excited about the AI advent, which might be ok in several countries recognized as leaders in technological advancement, like the US ... but even in these countries there's still so much left to understand about the tech era we're living in, before moving to the new era. Now imagine country like Italy where people still use Fax!
We can't handle the future, if we are not able to keep pace with present and most of all inherit the past properly. We can't disrupt the mental mode we earned so far, for the sake of excitement.
For instance, Material Design has been a great outcome for Design standards, coz it was generated according to traditional typography. Shout out to Dhurer and Bodoni!
Yes indeed, we need a smooth hand-off process. Evolution, not involution. Yet, we get to see people using font families like "Papyrus" or "Comic Sans" ... and i'm speaking of professional, not only customers. How do we conciliate this bad habits with the new mindset? Don't idolize Ai. Don't push Ai or any other tech-fancy-ass-innovation with shocking headlines, if your' surrounded by co-workers and customers who do not comprehend the ABC of Design and Development matters. It's misleading and not helpfull at all
